Sports ... moving healthy

"We focus on the specific needs of different types of sports and also the individual aims and goals of each sportsman and woman“

… that is the best way to understand adViva’s methods in regards of sports. We support all types of sports activities and assist movement… in recreational sports as well as competitive sports – and especially in disabled sports. As there are a huge variety of sports, challenges and goals – there is also a huge variety of support, advice and assistance that can be provided by adViva.

Our main focus and starting point for our work with sportsmen/women is the adViva movement / gait analysis. Here we observe, record and analyse special body movements, which are typical for different types of sports. The results are discussed by our sports scientists with the sportsman as well as the physiotherapists and trainers, who decide together the exercises required to combat the deficiencies and optimize the movements for that sport.

In addition discussions with physiotherapists and doctors can determine if insoles, bandages, orthoses, prostheses could also help to achieve the individual goals of the athlete. As adViva has a large range of solutions and its own workshop for constructing them from the most advanced materials and extensive expertise, the solution can be individually designed taking into account specific needs and requirements.

We look forward to your questions and when you are interested in wheel chair sports we organise annual handbike try-outs where you can test both adaptive bikes and recumbent bikes from different manufacturers.

Also for sports with special requirements such as rugby and basketball our adViva consultants, who are also active sportsmen, are ready to provide advice. Every January we hold the Monoski-Week together with the multiple Olympic winner Martin Braxenthaler.
