The healthcare company adViva has been offering medical products, orthopedic and rehabilitation technology in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region since 1997. The company's founders Gerhard Biber and Klaus Happes, together with Karin Happes and Olaf Weber, manage the company with over 115 employees. adViva offers apprenticeships in the industrial and commercial fields and trains between 15 and 20 apprentices each year.

The company's consulting and service activities focus on customized aids such as orthopedic insoles, orthoses, prostheses, and positioning systems. A wide selection of medical and rehabilitation products, wheelchairs, the video-supported adViva movement analysis and the care of women after breast surgery are further components of the portfolio.

adViva® is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and DIN EN ISO 13485. The adViva SaniCenter and the company headquarters in Eppelheimer Straße were accepted into the inclusion atlas compiled by the city of Heidelberg and the Association for Professional Integration and Qualification - "Verein zur beruflichen Integration und Qualifizierung e.V. /(VbI)", which examined both locations for their extensive accessibility.

For many years, adViva has been known for its employees' high level of technical and medical expertise and regular training programs, as well as for its excellent processing and product quality. In the care of patients, adViva works together with doctors, physiotherapists and health insurance companies in an interdisciplinary manner in order to achieve the individual requirements and personal goals for each individual.

Based on this idea, adV Physio was founded in 2020 to increase the effectiveness of medical aids in exchange with the physiotherapists in charge. Also since 2020, the company is committed to the ethical code Gehen Verstehen® and is a certified OT competence house.

At the beginning of 2019, the adViva® ACADEMY was launched with the aim of providing a professional platform for the company's expertise in health topics. Two large, modern and bright seminar rooms of the academy are offered for rent on a daily basis.
